About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Search Ads Syndication (SAS) team extends Google's Search Ad inventory beyond Google to partner sites and owned and operated properties like YouTube, image search, and lens, on a mission to eliminate low-value traffic and build a premium, safe network that extends advertisers search reach. You and the team will innovate on full-stack search ads retrieval and multimodal AI experiences to drive 0-to-1 business generation on visual and conversational surfaces while modernizing our third-party publisher product suite and evaluating the opportunity for in-app search syndication.

Google Ads is at the forefront of AI innovation, applying cutting-edge machine learning and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business.

Our work directly impacts billions of users by protecting users from harm, improving ad quality, and optimizing campaigns for advertiser return-on-investment. We foster a culture of deep collaboration, partnering closely with teams like Google Research and DeepMind to solve complex challenges. Join us to work on state-of-the-art AI, take on problems at an unparalleled scale, and build the next generation of advertising technology.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for search ads in visual and multimodal exploration journeys on Google Lens and AI overviews, including bottom-of-AIO and carousel ad formats, synthetic query generation, and image-aware retrieval.
  • Lead the evolution of visual search text ads toward native, in-grid visual ad formats tailored for exploratory user journeys, partnering with vertical teams and organic image search to expand beyond retail.
  • Own the publisher-facing product roadmap, partnering with global Ads teams to refine and enforce durable publisher quality standards.
  • Scope, pilot, and validate new syndication models for high-intent mobile apps and AI chatbot partners, balancing in-app recirculation, commercial refinements, and third-party bidding integrations.
  • Secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
