About the job

The Central Fleet T/PgM team is responsible for provisioning fleet compute and storage resources to Google’s resource managers while managing the cost, health and lifecycle of the underlying fleet of machines. Our team leverages Google’s resource abstraction systems to expose and execute on opportunities for inventory and fleet optimization. We partner with the fleet’s stakeholders, giving them a platform to influence fleet composition and design.

The Central Fleet’s mission is to synthesize all stakeholder’s needs and orchestrate changes to the fleet, driving the fleet’s evolution.

As a Program Manager for Central Fleet, you will be central to the advancement of Google’s mission to catalog the world’s information at a global scale. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional programs aimed at solving some of Google’s most challenging problems in cloud computing and pushing the leading edge of modern operations management.

You will work directly with Google’s physical supply chain, data center planning, and software engineering teams to design, deploy, and manage the systems that are used to optimize Google’s immense fleet of shared compute and storage resources. In this role, you will be acting as a combination: project/program manager, product designer, change management diplomat.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
