Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Google's long-term technology roadmaps for PCBA assembly, including qualifying advanced, high-density component packaging for future product generations.
  • Author, standardize, and maintain Google’s proprietary PCBA Design Guidelines for rigid and rigid-flex assemblies, setting the benchmark for hardware manufacturability.
  • Lead the technical gatekeeping and execution of the OK2FAB layout approval workflow, conducting critical, high-risk CAD layout reviews to mitigate manufacturing risks before fabrication.
  • Serve as the engineer, who is directly responsible for high-stakes SMT defect investigations, applying analytical lab techniques to resolve complex assembly failures and recover factory yields during NPI and mass-production ramps.
  • Define engineering standards for panel array designs, panelization routing clearances, allowable x-out thresholds, and SMT process traceability parameters.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
