About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will solve large-scale recommendation and relevance challenges. You will blend deep technical intuition with sharp product sense, understanding the complex algorithmic trade-offs required to maximize user satisfaction. They bring experience solving search quality, ranking, or retrieval problems with a relentless focus on user value. You will build systems that deeply understand user interests and predict engagement. You will work with engineering teams, help drive deep-learning ranking models beyond click-through rates to optimize for scroll depth and meaningful user engagement. You will partner closely with Engineering and Research to translate complex Machine Learning infrastructure (deep models, feature streaming, scoring efficiency) into intuitive consumer product metrics.

In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
