The Specialist will work closely with various departments to align training initiatives with company goals and regulatory requirements. This role will also support the BD team with Personal Lines product expertise and strong communication skills to deliver timely training and product updates, thereby bridging the gap between product development teams and brokers operating on the front line.

Maintain and Evolve Curriculum: Collaborate with the Broker Engagement Learning Partner to update and refine training materials, ensuring accuracy with evolving insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Evaluate and Improve Learning Impact: Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data, and use findings to adjust content, delivery methods, and support resources for continuous improvement.

Provide Ongoing Broker Support: Offer personal lines mentorship, respond to broker questions, and ensure they have the guidance needed to confidently apply training, navigate systems, and support customers effectively.

What will you do?

  • Training Delivery: Deliver effective virtual and in-person training sessions that build broker competence in product knowledge, sales practices, systems use, and regulatory compliance
  • Curriculum & Content Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training materials by collaborating with the Broker Engagement Learning Partner and SMEs to reflect product changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices
  • Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and implement enhancements to improve learner experience and business outcomes.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Resources: Create, update, and manage clear documentation; including FAQs, product guides, and job aids, to ensure brokers have accessible, accurate, and practical reference materials.

What will you need to succeed in this role?

  • Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Insurance, Education/Adult Learning, Communications, or related discipline.
  • 2–3 years in personal lines insurance, underwriting, or broker support with solid understanding of products, underwriting guidelines, quoting workflows, and regulatory expectations.
  • 1–2 years facilitating training or coaching, with the ability to apply adult learning principles and deliver both virtual and in‑person sessions.
  • 1–2 years creating or updating training materials, job aids, or documentation.
  • Experience supporting brokers or customers directly, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Broker support and customer service skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Analytical skills for evaluating learning effectiveness

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
