What you’ll do

As a Strategy Associate, you will support the GoTyme Bank Strategy & Proposition team across commercial initiatives that drive the growth and success of our retail banking business. You will help solve problems spanning strategy, product propositions, operations, partnerships and customer experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Proposition Development

  • Assist in formulating the overall strategy and the design of products, features, and engagement mechanics;
  • Assist in the management of end-to-end life cycle of the proposition’s products and processes, such as ideation, design, and management of its features, together with the timely implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives to drive value creation;
  • Together with other stakeholders (e.g. Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Operations, etc.), research and monitor competitor products, global benchmarks, and compliance requirements to inform the ideation and prioritization of new products and features for the proposition; and Assist in the development of the business rationale (e.g., value proposition, opportunity sizing, financial modelling) to inform product prioritization.
  • Assist and where necessary lead the ideation and design of new capabilities and features to reach new segments of the market
  • Together with data stakeholders design and measure relevant data insights to inform execution.

Partnerships & Customer Engagement

  • Support the development of strategic external partnerships to enable innovative and differentiated product features.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams and product partners to deliver products and features that offer a distinctive customer experience.
  • Work with GoTymeX’s design, development, data analytics and innovation teams to continuously improve the user experience and drive progress towards proposition OKRs.

Operations & Stakeholder Management

  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day product operations, including operational processes and customer servicing.
  • Support the implementation of technology and process fixes to address findings from regulatory audits.
  • Work with the Distribution & Marketing team to develop and execute product go-to-market strategies across customer segments and channels.
  • Collaborate with regulatory stakeholders to prepare documentation and fulfil administrative requirements for implementing proposition initiatives.
  • Help evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of proposition initiatives, identify key drivers of success or failure, and recommend improvements where needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Science, Engineering, Law, Data Science, Chartered Accountancy, Actuarial Science or a related field.

Relevant Experience

  • 0–5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, technology, product management, data analytics or technical marketing.
  • Experience in digital or technology companies is advantageous, particularly within fintech, payments, digital banking or lending.
