The Granite YMCA of Concord is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Welcome Center Associate to create a positive first impression and meaningful connections with our members and guests. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building community. This position requires someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask effectively, and thrives in a team environment. As a Welcome Center Associate, you will be the first point of contact for members and visitors, delivering exceptional service while promoting YMCA programs, values, and mission. You’ll help ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong. In this role, you will:

Greet members and guests warmly, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service Act as a positive ambassador for the Granite YMCA and connect members with programs and services Serve as the first point of contact for member concerns and problem-solving Process memberships, program registrations, and financial transactions Sell memberships and programs and provide cause-driven facility tours Communicate facility usage, programs, and events accurately

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience handling financial transactions preferred Proficiency with computers and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook or similar) Experience with SGA or similar membership software preferred
