About the Company

Graphcore is a globally recognised leader in Artificial Intelligence computing systems. The company designs advanced semiconductors and data centre hardware that provide the specialised processing power needed to drive AI innovation, while delivering the efficiency required to support its broader adoption. As part of the SoftBank Group, Graphcore is a member of an elite family of companies responsible for some of the world’s most transformative technologies. We are opening a new AI Engineering Campus in Bengaluru, which will play a central role in Graphcore's work, building the future of AI computing.

The Role

The Senior Finance Manager – APAC will be responsible for overseeing the finance operations of Graphcore's APAC entities, initially India and Taiwan. Based in Bangalore, this role will provide financial leadership across the region while partnering closely with outsourced accounting providers, the UK Group Finance team and local business leaders.

This is a broad, hands-on finance leadership role with responsibility for financial governance, statutory compliance, payroll oversight, treasury, business partnering and internal controls across the region. Whilst transactional accounting and local bookkeeping activities are performed by external service providers, the Senior Finance Manager retains ownership for the quality and integrity of the financial information, ensuring local accounting complies with Group policies and statutory requirements.

The role will oversee monthly reporting from the outsourced accounting providers, manage the integration of local financial information into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Group reporting, and support the continued development of scalable finance processes and controls as Graphcore expands across APAC.

Reporting to the VP Finance in the UK, this position will work closely with the wider Global Finance team, People, Facilities and local leadership to ensure Finance provides an outstanding service to the business.

  • Working with the People team, review and approve monthly payroll prepared by local payroll providers prior to processing.
  • Oversee banking relationships, cash management and treasury activities including review and approval of payment runs.
  • Ensure all statutory filings and compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time.

  • Ensure appropriate approval workflows exist for purchasing, expenses, payroll and payments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, documentation and reporting.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, including future ERP implementation and process automation.

Global Finance Collaboration

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
