Make a difference.
The Vice President Sales Enablement will lead the Company's sales enablement strategy by establishing the processes, tools, training, analytics, and governance that improve sales effectiveness and execution. They will partner with sales leadership, DVPs, HR, IT, Marketing, and other corporate functions to create a consistent sales operating model, strengthen accountability, and support profitable growth across all markets.
In this role you will:
- Establish and maintain the Company's sales and sales management processes.
- Define standard sales practices, account planning expectations, pipeline management disciplines, and opportunity management processes.
- Partner with sales leadership to establish performance expectations.
- Partner with IT and AI/Data teams to improve sales tools, automation, and reporting.
- Lead the enterprise sales training strategy and governance model.
- Partner with HR and sales leadership to develop onboarding, role-based training, leadership development, and ongoing learning programs for sales employees.
- Partner with sales leadership and HR to define sales competencies and performance expectations.
- Develop reporting that improve visibility into sales effectiveness and execution.
- Support succession planning and development efforts for sales leadership roles.
- Lead processes to gather and analyze customer feedback and field insights.
- Ensure customer needs and market trends are incorporated into sales training, account planning, and commercial strategy.
- Communicate actionable customer and market insights to sales leadership.
- Serve as the primary Corporate Sales liaison to the Directors of Sales.
- Lead enterprise initiatives that improve sales execution, commercial effectiveness, and customer engagement.
What you bring to the table:
- 10 years' experience in sales leadership, sales operations, sales enablement, commercial operations, or related leadership roles
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and organizational change
- Experience implementing sales processes, technology platforms, training programs, or performance management systems
- Four-year degree
Preferred
- Advanced degree
- Experience in wholesale distribution or complex B2B sales environments
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
- Experience leading enterprise-wide training, enablement, or sales transformation initiatives
