Zivildienst bei Greenpeace? Um gleich am Anfang Klischees auszuräumen: Greenpeace ist kein Haufen verwirrter Ökos. Greenpeace ist eine große, internationale Organisation, die Anliegen der Umwelt professionell bei Politik, Medien und Menschen vertritt. Der Zivildienst findet im Hauptquartier von Greenpeace CEE in Wien statt.

Was werden deine Aufgabenbereiche sein?

Allem voran Office-Management, also Instandhaltung und Erneuerung von Gebäude und Büro; du bist im Telefondienst ein paar Stunden pro Woche das Sprachrohr von Greenpeace für besorgte Bürgerinnen und Bürger; und du erledigst Einkäufe fürs Büro (selbstverständlich bio). Der Rest deiner Tätigkeiten variiert stark nach Bedarf und deinen persönlichen Fähigkeiten, denn es gibt viele verschiedene Abteilungen, in denen du dich einbringen kannst und die deine Hilfe benötigen könnten. Dazu gehören die IT und das Rechercheteam genauso wie die Küche – je nachdem, was du kannst.

Was du bei Greenpeace lernen wirst?

Du wirst im Laufe deines Zivildienstes mit vielen spannenden Persönlichkeiten konfrontiert sein, du wirst Einblicke in die Struktur einer internationalen NGO und in die Organisation des Büroalltags bekommen. Du wirst auch die Möglichkeit bekommen, deine handwerklichen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern, lernst mit Leuten am Telefon zu reden und noch vieles mehr. Sprich: Du wirst für dein Leben dazulernen.

Was du mitbringen solltest:

Interesse an Neuem, Motivation etwas zu lernen und zu tun, Engagement und vielleicht auch ein gewisses Interesse am Umweltschutz.
