The posting
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Transfer Pricing professional for its Singapore office. This opportunity combines technical transfer pricing analysis with the commercial and legal considerations behind clients’ business decisions.
About the Role
Based in Singapore, you will work closely with tax and transfer pricing partners in Singapore and Japan on complex advisory matters spanning business restructurings, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing policies and tax disputes.
The role offers opportunities to broaden your experience beyond recurring documentation and compliance assignments. Working alongside tax and legal practitioners across the firm’s international network, you will help clients assess how their businesses are structured, how related-party transactions are priced and how those positions can be supported.
This is an individual contributor role with direct partner exposure and opportunities to take ownership of technical analysis, client discussions and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on transfer pricing aspects of cross-border transactions, restructurings, and intercompany arrangements.
- Develop and evaluate transfer pricing policies supported by economic and financial analysis.
- Support advance pricing agreements (APA), mutual agreement procedures (MAP), and transfer pricing audits and disputes.
- Prepare clear, practical advice that connects technical findings with clients' commercial objectives.
- Work with colleagues across jurisdictions and practice areas to deliver coordinated advice.
About You
- Ideally 5-8 years of relevant transfer pricing experience, with flexibility for candidates at other experience levels.
- Big 4 transfer pricing experience is valued; candidates from other advisory firms or in-house tax teams are also welcome.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with an interest in complex advisory work.
- Clear communication and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A curious, proactive approach and confidence working independently.
