Part-Time Caregiver

URGENT HIRING – Immediate Opening in Richmond, CA

Griswold Home Care Central Contra Costa is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and available Caregiver to support a client in Richmond, California. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is located in Richmond or a nearby area, with the ability to reliably travel to the client's home.

Compensation: $20–$22 per hour

Schedule:

  • Option 1: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Option 2: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

The selected schedule will depend on the client's needs. Immediate availability is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver with Griswold Home Care, you will help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
  • Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, as assigned in the care plan
  • Helping with meal preparation and light household tasks, as needed
  • Supporting the client's comfort, safety, and well-being
  • Following the client's care plan and agency procedures
  • Communicating important updates or concerns to the office promptly

What We Need From You

We are looking for someone who is caring, responsible, and ready to provide dependable support.

  • Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
  • Current TB clearance or test documentation that meets agency requirements
  • Previous caregiving experience, especially with companionship, meal preparation, and personal care
  • Reliable transportation to the client's home in Richmond
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a respectful attitude
  • Ability to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality
  • Availability to work one of the listed morning schedules and begin as soon as possible
