Caregivers Wanted in Howard County: Join a Team That Has Your Back
Some people just have a gift for taking care of others. If that sounds like you, and you want a job that fits your life, pays you fairly, and comes with a team that’s in your corner, Griswold Home Care for Howard County is the right place for you. Here, caregivers aren’t just employees. They’re the heart of everything we do.
We’re hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults across Howard County, Maryland.
Why Your Work Matters
Many older adults spend much of their day alone, and it takes a toll on their health. Social isolation is linked to about a 50% higher risk of dementia, a 29% higher risk of heart disease, and a 32% higher risk of stroke. Sometimes the most important part of your visit is the company. That’s why we take care of our caregivers the way they take care of our clients.

- Flexible scheduling — choose the hours that work for your life
- Paid weekly — your paycheck shows up every week, no exceptions
- Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holiday Pay

What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Caregiver with Griswold Home Care for Howard County, you help older adults keep living in the homes they love. You support clients with personal care like bathing, grooming, and toileting, and you take care of light housekeeping, cooking meals, and picking up groceries. When a client has an appointment, you get them there safely. Some of the people you care for are living with dementia or memory loss, and your patience and kindness help them feel comfortable and hold on to their dignity. You write clear care notes and stay in touch with the office, so families stay informed and clients get the same quality of care every visit. When your day wraps up, you head home proud, knowing you made a real difference in someone’s life.
