Tâches principales : · Comprendre les modalités des garanties et des politiques du constructeur et en assurer le respect ; · S'assurer que toutes les réparations sont attribuées aux techniciens de façon égale et juste ; · Donner un appui technique aux techniciens, au besoin ; · S'assurer que les réparations sont imputées correctement ; · Vérifier l'état d'avancement de chaque réparation tout au long de la journée ; · Maintenir un service de réparation de grande qualité et minimiser les retours à l'atelier ; · Faire des vérifications intermittentes des travaux exécutés en vue de contrôler la rigueur et la qualité ; · Faire des essais sur route des voitures en vue de vérifier la qualité du travail exécuté si nécessaire ; · Participer au traitement des plaintes des clients en collaboration avec le directeur du service ; · Participer à la gestion du rendement du service en utilisant des outils tels le contrôle quotidien des opérations, le contrôle de l'efficience et de la productivité, les rapports sur les retours à l'atelier, les rapports sur les garanties, les sondages téléphoniques ou par courriels et les prévisions mensuelles ; · Surveiller l'état de l'atelier, y compris la propreté, la sécurité et l'état du matériel ; · Assurer le bon entretien, le remisage et l'inventaire des outils spéciaux ; · Se tenir au courant des nouveaux équipements et outils qui pénètrent le marché et faire des recommandations quant aux achats ; · Être à l'affut des règlements fédéraux, provinciaux et municipaux qui touchent la santé et la sécurité au travail, les travaux d'entretien, tels l'élimination des déchets dangereux, etc. Tâches reliées à la gestion des ressources humaines : · Contrôler les rapports quotidiens de productivité des techniciens ; · Motiver les techniciens sous sa responsabilité ; · Aider les techniciens à améliorer leurs compétences ; · Rechercher l'harmonie et l'esprit d'équipe au sein du service et avec tous les autres services ; · Voir à ce que tous les employés du service reçoivent la formation pertinente du constructeur ; · Examiner, sur une base régulière, le rendement de tous les techniciens selon les orientations de la concession.
