Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Brand Manager, Marcelle - Makeup & U.S Portfolio for a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Marcelle, the Brand Manager will be responsible for actively participating in product development and driving the brand's innovation and launch strategy for the Makeup category in the Canadian and U.S. market. The candidate will draw on her/his analysis of category performance, products and profitability to effectively manage the Makeup portfolio and product life cycles. The person will also manage a variety of relationships with internal and external collaborators. This role is responsible for leading the Makeup category strategy and execution for the U.S. market, identifying growth opportunities and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize brand performance and profitability. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
Develop sound business plans that will deliver incremental brand profits for the Makeup portfolio and the U.S. market Have an in-depth understanding of the portfolio and make recommendations to improve the offering Closely monitor the competition, analyze the Canadian and U.S. cosmetics and beauty market, and track trends to identify opportunities and ensure continued brand growth Work with Innovation and R&D teams on new product launches and line extensions, considering market trends and consumer needs while building a balanced and profitable Makeup portfolio Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and Finance departments to develop business cases for new launches Be able to present recommendations to Senior Management Work with the Senior Brand Manager to recommend pricing, margins, distribution strategy, sales forecasts, discontinuations, exit strategy, etc. for the Makeup category and the U.S portfolio. Collaborate with the Go-to-Market, Communication and cross functional teams to help strengthen campaigns, executions and the core business to drive growth within the Makeup category and the U.S market.
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Communications and/or Marketing or related field At least five (5) years' experience in Marketing and Communications, ideally in Cosmetics, Beauty, Makeup, or other related fields in the consumer goods industry Strong ability to analyze and synthesize data to provide clear direction for brand innovation and launches Experience in market data analysis (e.g., Nielsen) and sales analysis tools Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to interpret financial data (P&L, pricing analysis, etc.) Knowledge of the U.S. cosmetics and beauty market, major retailers and/or global beauty trends (strong asset)
