Nursery Teacher (Part-Time, 0.6 FTE)

Location: Tring, Hertfordshire

School: Grove Road Primary School

Salary: Main Pay Scale (pro-rata)

Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week)

About the Role

Grove Road is a successful, 2-form entry primary school set in the heart of the Tring countryside. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our talented Early Years team.

As part of an established local Multi-Academy Trust, we offer exciting opportunities for purposeful collaboration with both primary and secondary colleagues. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent induction and a clear pathway for career development.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an organised and creative teacher who can motivate and engage our youngest learners through play-based exploration.

If you are:

  • A talented teacher with a positive and flexible outlook.
  • Resilient in the face of challenges and experienced in managing complex needs.
  • Someone who enjoys contributing to a close-knit team.
  • Able to be flexible regarding the 0.6 FTE working pattern.
  • Passionate about inclusive practice and therapeutic approaches to classroom management.

We have high expectations for all our pupils. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to meet the needs of all children in their care through effective adaptation, promoting valued behaviours and a nurturing environment. A subject specialism would be an advantage, with a view to future subject leadership.
