Misión del cargo

Prevenir y controlar los riesgos relacionados con los trabajadores y las instalaciones, contribuyendo a la prevención de accidentes y al cumplimiento de las disposiciones de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional.

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar investigaciones de accidentes de trabajo, identificando causas y estableciendo acciones correctivas, preventivas y de mejora.
  • Vigilar el cumplimiento del Reglamento de Higiene y Seguridad Ocupacional.
  • Identificar peligros, evaluar riesgos y proponer acciones para su prevención y control.
  • Realizar inspecciones de seguridad en las instalaciones.
  • Verificar el uso adecuado de equipos de protección personal (EPP).
  • Elaborar y actualizar matrices de factores de riesgo y EPP.
  • Capacitar e impartir inducciones al personal sobre prevención de riesgos y actuación ante emergencias.
  • Participar y brindar asesoría a organismos paritarios.
  • Apoyar en la gestión y atención de emergencias.

Requisitos

Requisitos

Título de tercer nivel en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, Seguridad Industrial, Prevención de Riesgos Laborales o carreras afines; o título de tercer nivel en Ingeniería afín con Maestría en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo o áreas relacionadas.

Experiencia: De 1 a 3 años, preferentemente en empresas del sector industrial.

Conocimientos requeridos

  • Normativa ecuatoriana vigente en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SST).
  • Decreto Ejecutivo N.º 255 y normativa complementaria aplicable.
  • Identificación de peligros y evaluación de riesgos laborales.
  • Elaboración y actualización de matrices de riesgos.
  • Investigación y análisis de accidentes e incidentes de trabajo.
  • Seguridad Industrial y prevención de riesgos.
  • Gestión y respuesta ante emergencias.
  • Elaboración y ejecución de planes de emergencia y contingencia.
  • Selección, control y uso adecuado de Equipos de Protección Personal (EPP).
  • Inspecciones de seguridad en instalaciones industriales.
  • Gestión de organismos/comités paritarios de Seguridad y Salud.
  • Manejo de materiales peligrosos.
  • Normas BASC.
  • Capacitación e inducción en prevención de riesgos.
  • Manejo de indicadores, registros y documentación de SST.
  • Manejo de Microsoft Office.

Licencia de conducir vigente.
