  • Build and maintain the company's financial model, including scenario and sensitivity analysis for growth, pricing, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver monthly management reporting and variance analysis (budget vs. forecast vs. actuals), with clear explanations of what drove the results.
  • Prepare financial materials for the CFO, CEO, board of directors, and investors, including board decks and fundraising support.
  • Track and report key business metrics such as bookings, revenue by business line, customer profitability, and unit economics.
  • Partner with sales, delivery, and engineering leaders on pricing, deal profitability, and resource planning for services and AI infrastructure offerings.
  • Own headcount and compensation planning with HR, including salary increase and bonus budgets.
  • Support multi-currency, multi-entity planning across Gruve's international subsidiaries.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the FP&A team, and improve planning tools, processes, and controls as the company scales.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including at least 3 years leading a team.
  • Proven track record owning budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for a growing company.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience presenting financial results and recommendations to executives and boards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional finance certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), is preferred.
  • Experience at a venture-backed technology, IT services, or SaaS company.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency planning, especially across the US and India.
  • Hands-on experience with planning tools (such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or Pigment) and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, due diligence, or M&A.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
