The posting

Connollys Organic Eggs Limited is currently seeking to recruit 2 Farm Managers to work full time in Derryhellan, Carrickroe, Co. Monaghan.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the poultry farm while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, production, quality and regulatory compliance.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:- Managing the day-to-day operations of the poultry farm to ensure efficient egg production.- Overseeing the care, welfare, feeding and health of laying hens in accordance with animal welfare and biosecurity standards.- Supervising and coordinating farm staff to achieve daily production targets.- Monitoring flock performance, egg production and maintaining accurate farm records.- Ensuring compliance with health and safety, food safety and organic farming standards.- Inspecting and overseeing the maintenance of poultry houses, equipment and farm facilities.Other Details:Minimum annual remuneration: €36,605Standard working week 39 hours.Training in English language skills, company operating procedures will be provided.
