Ter versterking van het EH&S-team zijn zij voor de site in de Antwerpse haven (Linkeroever) op zoek naar een Product Safety Engineer die graag een carrière wil uitbouwen binnen een gerenommeerde, internationale marktleider met sterke groeiperspectieven.

Jouw taken:

· Opvolgen en implementeren van de wetgeving rond productveiligheid, meer bepaald voor gevaarlijke stoffen, productregistraties, CLP, POP-verordening, RoHS, enz.

· Structureren van alle compliance-informatie zodanig dat deze vlot toegankelijk is voor interne en externe reviews en audits.

· Opvolgen van de registratie van nieuwe en bestaande stoffen voor REACH en vergelijkbare regelgeving, samen met collega’s in het buitenland, consultants en technische experten.

· Behandelen van klantvragen over product compliance en bieden van ondersteuning aan de business.

· Beoordelen van grondstoffen en eindproducten volgens REACH en samen met aankoop de compliance van leveranciers garanderen.

· Opvolgen van de regelgeving en verzorgen van de interne communicatie en trainingen.

· Verzorgen van de rapportering binnen productveiligheid.

· Deelnemen aan vergaderingen van sectorverenigingen en verzorgen van de rapportering binnen productveiligheid.

· Je hebt een masterdiploma in een (bio)chemische richting en minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een compliance-omgeving.

· Je kent de Europese productregelgeving, in het bijzonder REACH en CLP. Ervaring met internationale regelgeving is een plus.

· Je werkt nauwkeurig, analytisch, georganiseerd en gestructureerd.

· Je bent klantgericht, een probleemoplosser en een efficiënte communicator.

· Je werkt zelfstandig en hebt een gezonde teamspirit.
