  • Ability to define technical and functional data requirements and ensure the availability, integrity, coherence, traceability, and appropriate protection of electronically stored information.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, establish key performance or risk indicators, and produce actionable findings for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Experience applying data-quality controls, documentation, metadata, lineage, testing, and quality-assurance practices throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Ability to work with sensitive government information in accordance with need-to-know, role-based access, records-management, privacy, and information-security requirements.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to nontechnical stakeholders and collaborate with program, policy, operations, security, and technology personnel.
  • Ability to support on-site and hybrid work for U.S. Department of State stakeholders in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Department of State, a foreign affairs agency, or another national security or civilian federal client.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data governance, data cataloging, metadata management, master or reference data, data stewardship, or data-sharing initiatives across multiple organizations.
  • Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and data models that ingest, clean, aggregate, organize, and publish data from multiple sources to data warehouses, data lakes, or other analytic repositories.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or comparable approved federal cloud and analytics platforms.
  • Quality-control experience, including debugging, peer review, user-acceptance testing, and quality assurance for new features, data products, and enhancements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and presenting technical topics to diverse groups of functional staff, technical teams, executives, and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
  • Experience redesigning business and data processes to meet evolving diplomatic, policy, program, compliance, or operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create concise technical documentation, executive-ready briefings, and user guidance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
