Your Practice at a Glance

At Emplify Health by Gundersen Waukon, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on providing comprehensive, relationship-based care to the community. You will have the support and flexibility to build a practice that reflects your interests while caring for patients with a wide range of needs.

  • Flexible scheduling, including the option of a four-day work week
  • Broad Family Medicine practice with a strong focus on chronic disease management and preventive care
  • Opportunity to incorporate procedures into your practice based on your interests and experience, including joint injections, Nexplanon placement, toenail removal, skin lesion removal, and more
  • 24/7 access to specialty consultation for additional support when needed
  • On-site optometry, laboratory, and imaging services
  • Dedicated team support focused on providing comprehensive, coordinated care to the community
  • Variety across outpatient care, procedures, and inpatient responsibilities, while still allowing flexibility in your schedule

* This opportunity supports H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship and is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and National Health Service Corps participation.

Waukon is located 20 minutes from Decorah, IA and 1 hour from La Crosse, WI.

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
