Responde pelo jateamento das peças, em todos os tipos de equipamentos da Altona (Tumblast - TBA - Mesa - gancheira e dirigido) realizando a manutenção dos equipamentos (MPO - manutenção pelo operador), separando as peças que serão jateadas, posicionando-as adequadamente para a tarefa, efetuando o processo de jateamento, retirando as sobras de granalha e encaminhando a peça para o setor seguinte.
