Desde dezembro de 2024 a SPDM/PAIS é responsável, em parceria com a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Rio de Janeiro, pelo gerenciamento do Hospital Cardoso Fontes.O Hospital Cardoso Fontes, é direcionado ao atendimento de média e alta complexidade.
