Com 2.100 colaboradores e um corpo técnico formado por mais de 500 médicos, a FIDI está presente em 86 unidades de saúde nos estados de São Paulo e Goiás, e é a maior prestadora de serviços de diagnóstico por imagem do SUS, realizando aproximadamente 5 milhões de exames por ano, entre ressonância magnética, tomografia computadorizada, ultrassonografia, mamografia, raios-X e densitometria óssea.A Fundação também trabalha na proposição de soluções inovadoras para a saúde pública, como o sistema de análise de imagens de tomografia computadorizada por inteligência artificial, e participou da primeira Parceria Público-Privada de diagnóstico por imagem na Bahia. Por duas vezes, a FIDI recebeu o prêmio Referências da Saúde 2019 e 2020, na categoria Qualidade Assistencial, e por três vezes foi medalhista em desafios internacionais de aplicação de inteligência artificial no diagnóstico por imagem, propostos na conferência anual da Sociedade Norte-Americana de Radiologia, considerado o maior congresso do setor no mundo.
