Destaca-se o Departamento de Engenharia que conta com 140 profissionais de diferentes especializações entre engenheiros graduados, mestrados e MBAs. Apostando pesado no investimento em pesquisa e desenvolvimento, a TMSA mais que quadruplicou o número de pedidos de patentes nos últimos anos.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesExecutar projetos e esquemas de montagem dos equipamentos, zelando pela verificação quantitativa e qualitativa dos componentes;                     Prestar suporte aos demais profissionais envolvidos no projeto, orientando e acompanhando tecnicamente no que se fizer necessário, evitando desvios;Prestar suporte à área de produção sempre que necessário, assim como na especificação de materiais para elaboração de projetos, na elaboração de esquemas de montagem e na elaboração de manuais técnicos;Coletar dados "in loco", para ampliações, reduções, modificações ou atualizações de desenhos já existentes, conservando a estrutura do projeto;Avaliar padrões técnicos, levantando e relacionando detalhes pertinentes àquele produto, para posteriormente proceder à confecção dos desenhos definitivos;Elaborar desenhos e detalhamentos dos projetos de produtos e máquinas, através de cálculos, sequência do processo de fabricação e conhecimento de aplicação de materiais;                  Participar da avaliação da necessidade da abertura de RNC's e/ou SAP's nos projetos dos quais tenha participado;Atender os PO's e PR's e demais requisitos do sistema de gestão da qualidade (política e objetivos da qualidade, riscos e oportunidades, etc.) na execução dos trabalhos;Realizar o apontamento de horas conforme procedimentos estabelecidos;Zelar pela qualidade, produtividade e prazos acordados;Manter o bom relacionamento e comportamento adequado junto a equipe interna, ao cliente e terceiros, obedecendo as diretrizes do Código de Conduta da TMSA.                    Requisitos e qualificaçõesProcessos básicos de Fabricação e Montagem;Noções de Mecânica, Elétrica, Hidráulica e Pneumática;Legislação e Normas técnicas de desenho;Sistemas Inventor, AutoCAD, Mechanical, Gerenciador de documentos, Sistema ERP;Resistência de materiais;Noções de Cálculo Técnico;Instrumentos de Medição;Sistema de gestão da qualidade (procedimentos, indicadores, política e objetivos da qualidade, etc).                      Informações adicionaisPlano de Saúde;Plano Odontológico;Seguro de vida;Previdência privada;PPR;Cartão Good Card;Refeitório no local;Prêmio assiduidade e pontualidade;Vale transporte;Estacionamento no local;Auxílio Educação;Parcerias com instituições de ensino;Assessoria Psicossocial e Terapia In Company.
