Estamos construindo a PWS Cloud, uma plataforma de nuvem soberana, e buscamos uma pessoa Staff Platform Engineer com foco em Backend para participar da construção dos serviços que formam a base da nossa cloud.Você atuará como uma das referências técnicas do time, combinando desenvolvimento hands-on, decisões de arquitetura e evolução dos padrões de engenharia da plataforma.O desafio envolve construir APIs e serviços distribuídos responsáveis por abstrair capacidades de compute, storage, identidade, billing e serviços de plataforma, além de contribuir para a evolução da nossa camada de API Gateway e API Management.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesParticipar da definição e evolução da estratégia de API Gateway e API Management da plataforma;Definir padrões para exposição e governança de APIs, considerando autenticação e autorização, rate limiting, quotas, roteamento, versionamento, observabilidade e segurança;Construir integrações com componentes da nossa cloud, como CloudStack, Ceph, identidade, billing e serviços internos de plataforma;Participar de decisões de arquitetura envolvendo APIs, eventos, dados, concorrência, consistência e resiliência;Desenvolver soluções considerando desde o início observabilidade, segurança, performance e operação;Evoluir padrões e boas práticas de engenharia por meio de RFCs, ADRs, code reviews e decisões arquiteturais;Atuar de forma hands-on na resolução de problemas complexos e apoiar outros engenheiros nas decisões técnicas;Construir capacidades reutilizáveis que aumentem a autonomia e a velocidade dos times de produto;Participar da evolução dos serviços em produção seguindo uma cultura de You Build It, You Run It.Requisitos e qualificaçõesExperiência sólida em desenvolvimento backend com Rust, Go, ou linguagens equivalentes, com disposição para trabalhar predominantemente com Rust;Experiência ou conhecimento sólido em API Gateway e API Management, incluindo autenticação/autorização, rate limiting, quotas, roteamento, políticas e observabilidade;Experiência com Kubernetes, containers e ambientes cloud-native;Conhecimento de arquiteturas orientadas a eventos e comunicação assíncrona utilizando Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ ou tecnologias equivalentes;Boa compreensão de concorrência, idempotência, consistência, retries, tolerância a falhas e resiliência em sistemas distribuídos;Experiência com testes automatizados, CI/CD e observabilidade;Capacidade de discutir trade-offs, influenciar decisões de arquitetura e atuar como referência técnica para outros engenheiros.Informações adicionaisSerá um diferencial se você tiver experiência com:Desenvolvimento de serviços backend utilizando Rust em ambientes de produção;Desenvolvimento de plataformas internas, cloud providers ou produtos de infraestrutura;Implementação ou evolução de soluções de API Gateway/API Management, como Kong, Apache APISIX, Envoy, KrakenD ou equivalentes;CloudStack, OpenStack, Ceph ou tecnologias relacionadas a cloud privada;OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana e stacks modernas de observabilidade;Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, OIDC ou soluções de identidade;Vault/OpenBao e gestão de secrets;Arquiteturas multi-tenant e plataformas de grande escala.
