HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE OUR TREASURY ASSISTANT?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in treasury operations or a finance-related role.
  • Practical understanding of cash management, payment processing, and financial controls.
  • Experience handling multiple bank accounts and different currencies is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems or software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Ability to organize financial information, manage priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of applicable financial regulations and internal compliance requirements.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TREASURY ASSISTANT (HYBRID WORK EDITION)

Payment Processing and Transaction Management

  • Process company payments promptly and accurately, following established treasury policies and procedures.
  • Monitor payment transactions and ensure supporting information is complete and properly recorded.
  • Investigate payment-related enquiries, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Support payment activities involving multiple bank accounts and currencies.

Cash Flow Monitoring and Reporting

  • Prepare and submit accurate cash flow reports within established timelines.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse financial data to support cash flow monitoring and reporting.
  • Maintain updated cash position and bank balance reports by monitoring daily transactions.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams or banking partners to clarify outstanding items.

Banking and Treasury Operations

  • Support the monitoring and administration of bank accounts and treasury-related transactions.
  • Help ensure payment activities and cash management processes follow internal policies and applicable financial requirements.
  • Perform other bank and treasury-related duties as needed to support daily operations.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Work closely with teams across the organization to address payment concerns and improve transaction workflows.
  • Share relevant information, insights, and best practices to support efficient payment operations.
  • Assist the Treasury Manager in developing and improving processes that help maintain the organization's operational cash flow.
  • Provide accurate financial data and analysis to support treasury planning and decision-making.
