  • Interest in e-commerce, SEO, product presentation, and data analysis.

  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and marketplace requirements.
  • Previous Amazon experience is an advantage but not essential if the required skills can be demonstrated in other ways.
  • Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, or English is a plus, but fluency in all target languages is not required.

What Matters Most to Us

We are looking for someone who does not simply change product texts or images, but can identify which improvement is most likely to make a meaningful difference for a specific product.

The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, visual judgment, attention to detail, and a structured approach to improving existing listings across multiple marketplaces.

Role Requirements & Interview Guide

1. What Skills Should the Candidate Have?

The main responsibility of this role is to optimize existing Amazon listings across multiple European marketplaces, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Sweden.

The goal is to improve product visibility, listing quality, and conversion rates by optimizing product images, SEO content, and A+ Content.

Fluency in all target languages is not required. Language skills are a bonus, but the candidate's ability to analyze, optimize, and improve existing listings is more important.

A. Amazon SEO & Keyword Optimization — Very Important

The candidate should be able to:

  • Research and identify relevant keywords for different products and marketplaces.
  • Optimize product titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and backend search terms.
  • Integrate important keywords naturally without making texts repetitive or difficult to read.
  • Understand customer search intent and distinguish between broad keywords and specific long-tail keywords.
  • Identify missing keywords and opportunities to improve organic visibility.
  • Understand how Amazon SEO differs from traditional website SEO.

B. Product Image Optimization — Very Important

The candidate should be able to:

  • Evaluate existing product images and identify weaknesses.
  • Understand what makes a strong main image and an effective set of secondary images.
  • Recommend improvements to image quality, order, messaging, and visual presentation.
  • Ensure that product benefits and features are communicated clearly.
  • Identify which product details customers need to see before making a purchase.
  • Create clear briefs for graphic designers or other team members.
  • Understand Amazon's image requirements and guidelines.

C. A+ Content Optimization

The candidate should be able to:

  • Review existing A+ Content and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Structure content in a logical and visually appealing way.
  • Communicate product benefits, materials, features, and use cases effectively.
  • Combine images, headlines, text, and comparison modules appropriately.
  • Ensure consistency between A+ Content, product images, and listing text.
  • Understand how A+ Content can support customer confidence and purchase decisions.

D. Data Analysis & Performance Measurement — Very Important

The candidate should be able to:

  • Understand key metrics such as sessions, conversion rate, orders, and sales revenue.
  • Identify potential visibility problems versus conversion problems.
  • Compare performance before and after listing changes.
  • Develop hypotheses and prioritize improvements based on their potential impact.
  • Document results and learn from successful and unsuccessful optimizations.
  • Understand that changes in performance do not automatically prove that a specific optimization caused the change.

E. International Marketplace Management

The candidate should be able to:

  • Work systematically across multiple European Amazon marketplaces.
  • Understand that search behavior, keywords, and customer expectations can differ between countries.
  • Use keyword research, translation tools, and AI tools effectively.
  • Check translated content for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with product specifications.
  • Recognize when a native speaker or professional linguistic review is necessary.
  • Maintain consistent product information and brand communication across all marketplaces.

Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, is an advantage, but fluency in every language is not required.

F. Organization & Implementation

The candidate should be able to:

  • Manage multiple products and marketplaces simultaneously.
  • Prioritize tasks according to their expected impact.
  • Document changes clearly and consistently.
  • Work confidently with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Follow established workflows and quality-control procedures.
  • Check product information and variations carefully before making changes.
  • Ideally, have experience with Amazon Seller Central and bulk uploads via flat files.

Important Soft Skills

The following characteristics are particularly important:

  • Analytical thinking: Makes decisions based on data and logical reasoning.
  • Attention to detail: Identifies errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer orientation: Understands what customers need to know before purchasing a product.
  • Initiative: Identifies optimization opportunities independently instead of waiting for instructions.
  • Structured working style: Can manage many products and tasks systematically.
  • Learning ability: Learns new tools, processes, and marketplace requirements quickly.
  • Quality awareness: Checks work carefully before changes go live.
  • Results orientation: Wants to understand whether an optimization actually improves performance.

Previous Amazon experience is valuable, but it should not be the only selection criterion. A candidate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn may also be a good fit.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
