Our headquarters are located in San Francisco and we have additional offices in Knoxville, TN and New York City with employees working remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MN, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI All employees are required to have permanent residency in one of these states. Candidates who are willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates based in the Bay Area, New York City, and Knoxville, Tennessee will be give priority consideration. For these locations, the position will follow a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in office and the remaining days working from home.

Job Title: Office Manager, Knoxville, TN

Working Conditions:

Location: 35 Market Square, Knoxville, TN 37902 Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the office (approx. 9AM - 4PM with some flexibility for adjustment based on business needs) Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.

What You Get to Do:

  • Work with Office Managers in SF & NY to maintain a consistent level of office efficiency, professionalism, and staff comfort.
  • Act as the point of contact for all office-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of office supplies and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with in-office onboarding of new employees, and be a point of contact for visiting employees, including executives.
  • Work with the People & Talent team and the Culture Committee to plan and execute cultural events and team building activities.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Assist with the search for and set up of a new office space (Winter/Spring 2027).

Skills and Experience that Will Help You Succeed:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Slack.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment is preferred.
  • Office move experience is a plus.
  • Experience with office moves or events is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
