The posting

Role Overview

Lead structural design, project technical delivery, and team supervision for complex buildingand infrastructure projects. Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulations, drive design optimization, and act as key technical liaison with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis & design of building, infrastructure, or special structures (RC, steel, composite, post-tensioned)
  • Review & endorse design calculations, reports, and drawings; ensure alignment with SS, Eurocode, BCAR, BCA standards
  • Manage authority submissions & approvals (BCA, LTA, PUB, SCDF); resolve complex regulatory/technical issues
  • Oversee site supervision, quality assurance, contractor coordination, and construction problem-solving
  • Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, drive value engineering
  • Represent firm in client/stakeholder meetings; guide project technical strategy & risk management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/master’s in civil/Structural Engineering
  • 6+ years progressive experience in design & construction; proven track record in Singapore complex projects
  • Expert proficiency in SAP2000, STAAD. Pro, ETABS, Revit Structure; deep mastery of local codes & practices
  • Strong leadership, project technical governance, and cross-party coordination experience
  • Excellent communicator; capable of leading technical discussions and decision-making
