Position Summary

Haag Ford is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Parts Counter Person to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist retail and wholesale customers, support the service department, maintain accurate inventory records, and help ensure efficient parts operations. This position offers a competitive hourly wage plus monthly commission bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist retail, wholesale, and service department customers with parts sales and inquiries
  • Identify and source correct Ford and aftermarket parts using manufacturer catalogs and software
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain parts inventory and stock levels
  • Receive, check, and organize incoming shipments
  • Handle returns, warranty parts, and core returns according to dealership procedures
  • Keep parts department clean, organized, and professional
  • Work closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Promote additional parts and accessories opportunities when appropriate
  • Maintain positive customer relationships through exceptional service

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Ford parts systems is a plus
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
