Investigate and resolve customer concerns, pricing deductions, shortages, returns and order issues promptly.

Serve as a commercial quotations resource to the Profit Center sales team concerning quotes, proposals, bid strategy and product application.

Communicate business or account changes that could create credit risk to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager.

Complete required safety and compliance training.

Ability to report to the Profit Center consistently, punctually and prepared to perform.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also

Be organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Be a self-starter who takes ownership without requiring repeated direction.

Possess strong customer-service, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Build positive working relationships with customers, manufacturers, vendors and teammates.

Understand that a quotation is not complete until it has been followed through to a documented outcome.

Analyze quotation activity, conversion, wins, losses and loss reasons to improve future results.

Identify risks early and communicate directly before they affect the customer.

Have experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Have experience using Eclipse or another wholesale-distribution ERP system.

Be able to learn and effectively operate the systems used to create quotations, submittals, sales orders and project documentation.

Read, write, speak and understand English.

What Success Looks Like Success in this role means producing accurate and profitable quotations, proactively creating new commercial opportunities, meeting customer deadlines, maintaining consistent follow-up, converting opportunities into orders and providing a professional customer experience from the initial request through final delivery. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
