**Join us to Make an Impact

**Innovation is in our DNA. We invented supercontinuum lasers and photonic crystal fibers and we constantly reimagine how our products can be used and improved. Our customers use our products in medical and life science research, quantum computing and space exploration.

We seek curious, creative and collaborative people to work in our cutting-edge company. Can you see yourself working in teams and providing solutions for innovators?

If you wish to apply, please contact us with your CV / Résumé. If you have a cover letter, please save this in one document with your CV / Résumé as you are only able to upload one document.

We look forward to hearing from you!

We are rapidly growing, so we are looking for an additional engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team.

Our NPI team is organized in Product Engineering within Engineering. NPI bridges the gap between product development and volume production, being the place where prototypes and first sales units are manufactured and tested.

NPI is working closely together with development engineers (optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers) for maturing the product, but also with automation engineers on manufacturing processes.

When a product has proven it can be manufactured with satisfactory yield and volume justifies, it will be transferred to our Operations department, freeing up space and resources for the new next thing.

In NPI we have a team of highly skilled technicians and engineers. Our technicians are the crank as they are manufacturing by far the most prototypes and sales units.

As NPI Engineer you will:

  • Mastering and improving existing production processes – training, and supporting technicians.
  • Troubleshooting issues, performing failure analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyzing test and manufacturing data to identify and implement improvements in quality and productivity.
  • Collaborating with Operations and other departments to transfer mature products and processes into production.

**Qualifications

**To succeed in this role, you should have a technical background in one or more of the following areas: optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering. You have a strong affinity for processes and enjoy enabling others to follow them accurately.

Additionally, you bring:

  • Experience with complex technical systems (e.g., optical fibers, free space optics, or electronic test setups).
  • A proactive and process-driven mindset.
  • A few years of experience from a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Being able to speak Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • You thrive in an environment where technical challenges and deadlines are part of everyday life. You enjoy teamwork – asking for help when needed and supporting colleagues when possible.

**Keep your personal data safe

**Hamamatsu ("The Company") take responsibly for the protection of your personal data. Accordingly, upon receiving your job application and additional material you choose to submit, the Company keeps a safe and secure environment and ensures confidentiality.

You also have a role to play in keeping your personal data safe. We request you only submit personal data about yourself in your job application, CV / Résumé or other relevant material you choose to provide to us that is relevant for the specific job opening you are applying for.

Please consider whether there is personal information you are about to submit, such as health information, information on family relations, information on trade union membership, etc. that is not necessary for our recruitment process or the job opening you are applying for. Please also be aware that certificates or other documents are not necessary for the vacancy. We urgently request you to redact/cross out such information before you submit your job application.

Thank you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
