Job Summary

Happy Together seeks a part-time Content Creator to film workshops and produce engaging short videos and Chinese Xiaohongshu & Tiktok content, working closely with the Marketing Team Lead to deliver high-quality digital media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop practical content ideas, hooks, and shot lists based on briefs from the Marketing Team Lead to align with campaign priorities
  • Film workshop demonstrations, instructors, products, and participant experiences on-site with appropriate permissions
  • Edit short vertical videos incorporating clear storytelling, pacing, subtitles, music, and covers to engage target audiences
  • Independently write and proofread Chinese Xiaohongshu titles, captions, and posts that accurately describe workshops and drive relevant enquiries
  • Adapt approved content for TikTok and other designated social media channels to maximize reach
  • Prepare content for review, implement revisions, and schedule or publish approved posts on time
  • Organize footage, editable files, captions, and publishing records systematically in shared folders for easy access
  • Review basic content performance with the Marketing Team Lead and propose actionable improvements
  • Communicate progress and challenges clearly and reliably to ensure timely delivery of content
  • Attend scheduled shoots at both Orchard Central and Commonwealth locations as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Portfolio demonstrating short videos personally filmed and edited
  • Practical skills in framing, lighting, and capturing clear audio during filming
  • Proficiency in video-editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
  • Understanding of Xiaohongshu & Tiktok content formats and short-form video storytelling techniques
  • Experience creating content for workshops, education, lifestyle, or customer experience sectors is advantageous
