$19.20 - $25.26 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and operational support to Category Managers, vendor partners, and internal teams in the execution of purchasing, merchandising, vendor management, and promotional initiatives. Maintains accurate product, vendor, cost, pricing, and promotional data to support efficient category operations. Assists in coordinating key processes, managing category-related information, and supporting initiatives that drive sales, profitability, operational excellence, and an exceptional customer shopping experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Supports Buyers with daily category management, purchasing, and merchandising activities Completes and maintains vendor paperwork Enter and maintain product information, promotional data, pricing changes, and other category-related records with a high level of accuracy Maintains promotional and marketing information, including featured products, sale pricing, promotional schedules, and advertising content Prepare reports, meeting materials, and information required for promotional planning and category review meetings Assists in the planning and coordination of weekly, seasonal, and special promotional events Communicates with vendors regarding product availability, pricing updates, new product opportunities, promotional support, and required documentation Maintains accurate records of vendor agreements, product specifications, pricing information, and promotional details Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation related to sales performance, pricing, promotions, and category activity Monitors promotional execution to ensure item information and pricing are entered accurately and within established timelines Research product details including costs, pack sizes, case quantities, UPC information, and product descriptions Assists in identifying and resolving discrepancies involving vendor invoices, product costs, pricing, and item records Provides administrative and project support for Grocery Buyers and Category Managers as needed Develops and maintains positive, professional relationships with vendors and internal business partners Communicates openly, effectively, and frequently with the Buyers Assists as needed to ensure the success of the company as a whole

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to analyze information and identify opportunities for improvement Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal partners A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, email, and the internet Ability to utilize computer systems and standard office equipment Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency and maintain focus Ability to interpret policies and procedures Excellent organization and planning skills Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with and manage diverse groups of people Ability to handle conflict professionally and appropriately Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of your team Required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons’ mission and commitment to working collaboratively Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward focused

Also requires sitting for long periods of time, walking, and bending. The associate may be required to occasionally move objects weighing up to 30 pounds from one place to another.
