About the opportunity

HJ Staffing is recruiting for a custom manufacturer of industrial HVAC equipment designed for hazardous locations. Production involves small batches and customer-specific builds rather than a traditional assembly line.

Fit and braze piping assemblies within custom industrial HVAC equipment. This position requires hands-on brazing experience, mechanical aptitude, and accurate measurement.

Responsibilities

• Measure and fit piping or tubing to project requirements.

• Prepare joints and perform brazing using approved procedures.

• Follow the lead worker’s instructions and applicable project drawings.

• Inspect joint quality and report fitting or assembly concerns.

• Follow torch and hot-work safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.

Required qualifications

• Previous brazing experience is required.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to measure accurately.

• Ability to fit piping or tubing and follow production instructions.

Preferred qualifications

• HVAC or refrigeration piping experience.

• Experience working with copper tubing.
