This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.

The Senior Attorney provides strategic legal support to Hasbro’s global Consumer Products business, advising on commercial licensing, promotions, location-based entertainment (LBE), partnerships, merchandising, publishing and brand activation initiatives across multiple international territories, with a focus on EMEA, Asia/Pacific and LATAM regions. This position will be located in the U.K. and will partner closely with business, finance, risk, creative, brand, marketing and commercial teams to structure, negotiate and manage licensing and promotional arrangements while protecting Hasbro’s intellectual property and commercial interests. This is a fixed-term role providing maternity cover.

Core responsibilities:

Commercial Contracting & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide variety of agreements, including merchandise licence agreements, promotion licence agreements, sub-representative agreements, amendments, assignment consents, NDAs, distribution arrangements and partnership agreements.
  • Lead negotiations directly with licensees, agents, external counsel and business stakeholders to resolve legal and commercial issues.
  • Develop commercial solutions that balance legal risk with business objectives and revenue opportunities.

Licensing

  • Advise on the exploitation and protection of Hasbro intellectual property across global licensing programmes, including promotions, consumer products, entertainment and collaborative partnerships.
  • Review approvals, brand guidelines, creative materials and marketing assets to ensure alignment with Hasbro IP requirements.

Promotions & Partnerships

  • Support global promotions and strategic marketing partnerships involving major brands, retailers, QSRs, airlines, entertainment companies and FMCG partners.
  • Advise on exclusivity rights, promotions mechanics, giveaways, contest structures and consumer activations.
  • Work directly with senior management in connection with legal issues, risks, priorities and anticipate follow-up needs.
  • Provide support in maintaining an efficient contract management process for the Licensed Consumer Products businesses.

Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE (post-qualification experience).
  • Strong knowledge of the licensing industry, with brand and entertainment intellectual property licensing experience preferred, whether representing licensors or licensees, and whether involving characters and brands or FMCG.
  • Demonstrable expertise in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Creative, motivated, supportive team player, with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong client relations skills, commercial pragmatism, business sense, and the ability to make practical evaluations of risk.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a substantial and diverse workload.
  • Sound intellectual property experience, particularly copyrights and trademarks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
