Ontwerp jij koelinstallaties die technisch kloppen op plan én in de praktijk?

Een performant koelproject begint niet bij de montage, maar bij een doordacht concept. Als Refrigeration Engineer vertaal je klantnoden, technische uitdagingen en duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen naar uitvoerbare koeltechnische oplossingen.

Van de eerste conceptkeuze en calculatie tot detailengineering, technische werfopvolging en commissioning: jouw expertise vormt de technische rode draad doorheen het volledige project. Geen pure salesrol en geen functie die enkel achter een scherm plaatsvindt, wel een sterke combinatie van engineering, technisch-commercieel inzicht en praktijkgerichte projectbegeleiding.

De focus? Commerciële en industriële koeling met onder meer CO₂, propaan/R290, hydroloop, chillers en conventionele koeloplossingen.

Hoe ziet jouw rol eruit?

Van klantvraag naar sterk koelconcept

  • Klantnoden, lastenboeken, koelmeubel- en celconfiguraties analyseren
  • Passende koelconcepten vergelijken op technisch, energetisch, operationeel en economisch vlak
  • Technische specificaties, voorontwerpen en conceptnota’s uitwerken ter ondersteuning van offertes
  • Samenwerken met Sales om technische keuzes helder en overtuigend te onderbouwen

Calculatie en offerte-engineering

  • Koelvermogens, componenten, materialen en hoeveelheden selecteren en berekenen
  • Technische risico’s, uitvoeringsuitdagingen en mogelijke optimalisaties scherp inschatten
  • Kostprijzen en technische offertedossiers opbouwen
  • Scope, aannames en aandachtspunten correct overdragen wanneer een project wordt toegewezen

Detailengineering die werkt op de werf

  • Goedgekeurde koelconcepten uitwerken tot concrete uitvoeringsdossiers
  • Leidingtracés, legplannen, materiaallijsten en technische interfaces voorbereiden
  • Afstemmen met E&I over regelprincipes, meetpunten, veiligheidsketens, alarmen en monitoring
  • Rekening houden met onderhoudstoegankelijkheid, koudemiddelrisico’s en de koppeling met elektrische, bouwkundige en HVAC-installaties

Technische ondersteuning tijdens realisatie

  • Projectleiders, monteurs en onderaannemers ondersteunen bij technische kick-offs en kritische uitvoeringsvragen
  • Technische afwijkingen, RFIs en wijzigingsvoorstellen inhoudelijk beoordelen
  • Mee bepalen welke controles en acceptatiecriteria nodig zijn voor testen, opstart en commissioning
  • Zorgen voor een sterke technische overdracht naar Service

Kwaliteit en innovatie

  • Herbruikbare ontwerpprincipes, selecties en calculatienormen helpen standaardiseren
  • Ontwikkelingen rond koudemiddelen, energieoptimalisatie en regelgeving opvolgen
  • Lessons learned uit offertes, uitvoering en opstart vertalen naar betere ontwerpen en duidelijke kennisdeling

Wie ben jij?

Een engineer die verder kijkt dan een theoretisch correct ontwerp. Technische diepgang, economisch inzicht en voeling met de werf vormen voor jou één geheel.

Sterk in koeltechniek

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in koeltechniek, elektromechanica, energietechnologie, HVAC of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Ervaring met commerciële of industriële koelinstallaties
  • Kennis van CO₂, R290/propaan, hydroloop, chillers, DX-systemen, koelmeubels en koelcellen is een sterke troef
  • Inzicht in koelbelasting, leidingdimensionering, componentselecties, hydraulica en energieprestaties
  • Kennis van relevante normen en regelgeving, zoals EN 378, PED en F-gassen

Van concept tot uitvoering

  • Interesse in zowel calculatie en conceptvorming als detailengineering en technische projectbegeleiding
  • Praktijkinzicht in werfopvolging, opstart en commissioning
  • Ervaring met AutoCAD, Revit of gelijkaardige ontwerptools is mooi meegenomen
  • Affiniteit met regeltechniek, E&I, GBS en monitoring vormt een extra troef
  • Vlotte omgang met technische dossiers en ERP-systemen; ervaring met Business Central is een plus

Duidelijk en verbindend

  • Heldere communicatie met Sales, projectleiding, uitvoering, leveranciers en Service
  • Sterk Nederlands, een goede basis Frans en functioneel Engels
  • Analytisch, nauwkeurig en hands-on
  • Ownership nemen over technische deliverables en risico’s tijdig zichtbaar maken

Medior ervaring is het richtniveau voor deze functie. Een senior profiel krijgt vanzelfsprekend ruimte om technische kennis verder uit te bouwen en te delen binnen het team.
