The posting

About Hashgraph:

Hashgraph is a fast-growing software company committed to supporting, developing and servicing Hedera, an open source, proof-of-stake platform. Hedera is EVM-compatible and has been specifically built to meet the needs of enterprise and web3 applications, which require speed, security, stability and sustainability. Hedera’s public network is governed by industry-leading organizations, spanning 11 sectors and 14 regions who oversee the development and direction of the decentralized platform.

Why this role exists:

Assets are landing on ledgers faster than anyone has built a way to move them between ledgers. Collateral sits on one chain while the position it should be margining sits on another. Delivery-versus-payment and payment-versus-payment both work inside a single ledger and both break the moment the two legs live in different places. The available workarounds are bridges, which have lost more than $2.8 billion since 2021.

The team that built Hedera from the ground up is now building a cross-ledger solution for institutional settlement: collateral mobility, DvP, PvP, cross-border payments, and FX across public and private ledgers that do not otherwise interoperate.

Your job will be to define the product and own the roadmap. You will report to the founder.

In this role, you will:

- Own the product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap.

- Work closely with business development on go-to-market execution for the product. Define the product the market needs and business development can sell..

- Report product status and roadmap changes directly to the founders and executive team.

- Design and run trials with external validators, partners, and customers.

- Make the release readiness call on performance, security, and usability. Ask the tough questions before launch, not after.

- Run program management across every stakeholder group. Keep BD, Marketing, and Engineering in sync.

What success looks like in 12 months:

- Live settlement for the priority use cases of cross-border payments, settlements, treasury management, and tokenized deposits, with named institutional counterparties moving real value.

- You will have built working on/off-ramps supporting the use cases above.

- BD, marketing, and engineering each independently say you are the reason they are shipping faster.

What you bring:

Core capabilities:

- 10+ years in product management, product leadership, or an equivalent operating role.

- 5+ years of that inside FX, payments, settlement, clearing, custody, collateral management, or banking infrastructure.

- Real operating experience in FX exchange, payments, settlement, or banking-rail businesses. You understand cross-border payments, stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and how players like SWIFT and Stripe fit together.

- Direct working knowledge of at least two of: FX execution and settlement, cross-border payments, DvP or PvP settlement, collateral mobility, treasury operations, tokenized deposits.

Functional expertise:

- Experience owning a roadmap end to end, including making the right, hard calls.

- Experience writing product requirements that an engineering team built from directly.

- Experience presenting to executives, boards, or institutional steering committees.

Preferred skills and experience:

- Distributed ledger or Layer 1 experience.

- Work inside a consortium, governing council, or member-owned network model.

- Exposure to CCIP, Circle and ARC, Canton, Ripple, or comparable enterprise platforms.

- Stablecoin mechanics, on-ramps and off-ramps, tokenized collateral.

- First product hire or zero-to-one experience at an early-stage company.

Candidates who meet the basic qualifications and none of the preferred should still apply. The preferred list is learnable in a quarter.

Travel to customer, validator, and partner sites, including international travel will be required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
