Und genau hier kommst du ins Spiel: Als Human Factors Engineer (m/w/d) sorgst du dafür, dass menschliche Fähigkeiten, Bedürfnisse und Grenzen systematisch in unsere Software- und Systementwicklung einfließen. An der Schnittstelle zwischen Nutzern, UX Design, Software Engineering und operativen Stakeholdern gestaltest du Lösungen, die Menschen bei kritischen Einsätzen bestmöglich unterstützen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Du baust ein fundiertes Verständnis unserer Nutzer, Einsatzkontexte und operativen Rahmenbedingungen auf und leitest daraus relevante User Needs und Use Cases ab.
  • Du übersetzt operative Anforderungen in klare User Requirements, Human-Performance Requirements, Constraints und Acceptance Criteria für unsere Softwareprodukte.
  • Du bewertest geplantes und bestehendes Systemverhalten aus Human-Factors-Perspektive, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Workload, Situation Awareness, Human Error, Usability sowie Trust und Reliance in Automation.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit UX Design und Software Engineering an Konzepten und Lösungen und bringst deine Human-Factors-Expertise aktiv in Design- und Entwicklungsentscheidungen ein.
  • Du planst, konzipierst und führst Human-Factors- und Usability-Validierungen durch.
  • Abhängig von Fragestellung und Kritikalität setzt du geeignete Methoden ein, beispielsweise heuristische Evaluationen, Task Analyses, Workload Assessments oder strukturierte Usability Tests.
  • Du bereitest Erkenntnisse strukturiert auf und leitest daraus konkrete Empfehlungen für die Weiterentwicklung unserer Produkte und Systeme ab.

Your Profile

  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Human Factors, Ergonomie, Cognitive Science, Psychologie, Human-Computer Interaction, Systems Engineering oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung.
  • Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse in kognitiver Ergonomie, Workload, Situation Awareness, Human Error, Usability sowie Trust und Reliance in Automation.
  • Du kannst komplexe operative Abläufe und Nutzerbedürfnisse strukturiert analysieren und in konkrete Anforderungen an Software und Systemverhalten übersetzen.
  • Du kennst relevante Human-Factors- und Ergonomie-Standards und kannst geeignete Methoden pragmatisch und abhängig von der jeweiligen Fragestellung auswählen und einsetzen.
  • Du verfügst über ein gutes Verständnis für die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Human Factors, UX und Softwareentwicklung.
  • Du arbeitest strukturiert, eigenständig und lösungsorientiert und fühlst dich in einem interdisziplinären Umfeld wohl.
  • Du kannst komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich aufbereiten und deine fachliche Perspektive gegenüber UX Design, Software Engineering und operativen Stakeholdern überzeugend vertreten.
