Join our dynamic team as a part-time Custodial Lead Night Porter! We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic leader to guide and inspire a dedicated team in maintaining the pristine condition of a commercial building. As the Custodial Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our facility shines, coordinating cleaning efforts with precision and passion. -Location: Kakaako (Oahu, HI)
-Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (17.5 hours weekly)
-Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50
Key Responsibilities:
-Communicate efficiently with the HBM supervisor and property manager.
-Possess the ability to utilize a smartphone for communication and report generation.
-Lead a team in cleaning designated areas of the building.
-Clean and maintain the location space, which involves restocking supplies, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas.
-Ensure that doors are secured properly.
-Monitor and maintain a fast and efficient workflow.
-Oversee that the property is cleaned according to assigned tasks.
-Clean restrooms, tenant spaces, elevators, and stairwells.
-Remove trash and replace liners, disposing of waste in designated areas.
-Ensure that employee time cards are reviewed and submitted to payroll promptly.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications:
-A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
-Must successfully pass prescreen check.
-Previous supervisory experience or related experience required.
-Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
-Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling a minimum of 30 pounds, as well as standing for long stretches and performing tasks like stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and pressing.
-Competence in safely and effectively operating cleaning equipment.
-Willingness to learn and participate in training for the position.
-Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently
-Good communication skills in English (read, write, speak, and listen) and the ability to work well in a team.
-Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.
-Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred not required.
