The posting

This entry‑level role supports the Senior Manager, Finance Operations in procurement controls, compliance administration, procure‑to‑pay workflows, audit preparation, documentation maintenance, project‑code accuracy, and operational reporting support. The analyst ensures procurement evidence is complete, systems are updated, documentation is organized, and month‑end/quarter‑end P2P tasks are executed cleanly. Taken together, this role strengthens the company’s internal controls, audit readiness, procurement accuracy, and overall operational reliability.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Reporting & Documentation

  • Assist with review of monthly revenue report support materials, contract waterfalls, metrics reviews, and accuracy checks.
  • Help maintain SharePoint repositories: cleanup, document migration, folder organization, audit storage.
  • Draft and review SOPs, workflows, process maps, and control narratives for internal finance operations.

Procurement Controls & SOX Compliance Administration

  • Maintain procurement SOX evidence including POs, packing slips, receiving documentation, invoice approvals, and vendor support.
  • Validate end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay documentation for control testing (PO → receiving → invoice).
  • Support procurement SOX testing: approval routing, segregation of duties, completeness of receiving.
  • Track recurring procurement issues and support remediation with leadership.

Procure‑to‑Pay Operational Support

  • Review purchase requisitions prior to PO creation to ensure financial accuracy, proper coding, compliance with approval thresholds, and alignment with SOX procurement controls.
  • Perform a secondary review of Purchase Orders before they are sent to vendors, validating correct project codes, amounts, supporting documentation, and approval routing to ensure compliance and reduce downstream corrections.
  • Review open‑PO and receiving reports and confirm accuracy of identified discrepancies, missing receipts, or delayed approvals for month‑end and quarter‑end close.
  • Validate procurement trackers maintained by the analyst, including open POs, RMAs, packing slip issues, and approval status, and ensure that identified issues are properly escalated and documented for audit readiness.
  • Review and QA procurement‑related data during Costpoint, Concur and Jira updates to confirm that the analyst’s work aligns with SOX requirements, audit expectations, and financial reporting needs.

Audit & PCAOB Support

  • Review and confirm documentation related to revenue schedules, project‑code setup, backlog support, and customer‑acceptance evidence.
  • Assist in maintaining audit folders, respond to follow‑ups, and assist with contract‑level tie‑outs.
  • Ensure accuracy of data stored in Costpoint and SharePoint for audit retrieval.

Project Code & Operational Data Maintenance

  • Review new project‑code requests, validate fields, prepare cleanup lists, and ensure downstream reporting accuracy.
  • Support administrative updates for project codes impacting procurement routing, revenue tracking, or reporting workflows.
  • Coordinate with PMs, Operations, A/P, Engineering, IT and other departments to resolve missing documentation and confirm system accuracy.

Consultant Coordination

  • Prepare materials for accounting, SOX, and system consultants; track open issues and follow‑up items.
  • Organize documentation for external reviews and system assessments.

Your skills and qualifications: Essential education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent experience). Strong attention to detail and comfort verifying documentation.
  • Basic Excel skills; willingness to learn procurement modules in Costpoint and Concur.
  • Interest in operational finance, procurement workflows, and compliance.
  • Highly organized and methodical.
  • Comfortable investigating mismatches (e.g., invoice versus PO versus packing slip).
  • Communicates clearly and follows up reliably.
  • Eager to learn how procurement controls support SOX compliance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
