Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify tax computations and statutory payments/Refunds under (IT,VAT,SSCL,STAMP DUTY and other applicable taxes) for assigned Group companies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Tax return filings, in compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) regulations.
  • Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department to resolve tax-related queries and support tax assessments when required.
  • Prepare quarterly tax compliance reports for Group companies and monitor statutory compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Group tax planning initiatives to maximize tax efficiencies.
  • Conduct tax compliance reviews and audits across Group companies.
  • Analyze IRD assessments and assist in preparing appeals where necessary.

Person’s Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting/Finance from a recognized University
  • Full / Part qualification in CASL/ CIMA/ACCA/ AAT is a definite advantage
  • Minimum 2+ experience in All kinds of Tax handling and proper communication with IRD.
  • Exposure to SAP would be a definite advantage
  • An analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environment.
