Aufgaben ###

  • Sicherstellung des stabilen Betriebs sowie der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung der On-Premise-Cloud-Plattform auf Basis von Compute, SAN, Storage und VMware-Technologien (vSphere 8 / ESXi, VCF)
  • Betrieb, Administration und Optimierung der virtualisierten Datacenter-Infrastruktur inklusive regelmässigem Pikettdienst
  • Verantwortung für das vollständige Lifecycle-Management der physischen Server-Infrastruktur, von der Beschaffung und Inventarisierung bis zur Ausserbetriebnahme
  • Durchführung und Koordination von Hardware-Austausch, Reparaturen und Wartungsarbeiten in Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern und Servicepartnern
  • Unterstützung der internen Kundschaft bei Cloud- und Migrationsprojekten, insbesondere im Umfeld von EVS und AWS
  • Beratung und technische Begleitung der internen Kundschaft bei der Cloud Transformation
  • Identifikation und Umsetzung von Massnahmen zur Optimierung und Automatisierung von Betriebsprozessen und Arbeitsabläufen
  • Einsatz und Weiterentwicklung von VMware Aria Automation zur Automatisierung von Infrastruktur- und Betriebsaufgaben
  • Nutzung von Scripting, REST APIs und Automatisierungstechnologien zur Effizienzsteigerung
  • Aktive Mitarbeit im agilen Team sowie Sicherstellung der Stabilität, Verfügbarkeit und Weiterentwicklung der Plattform

Profil ###

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Weiterbildung im Bereich Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit VMware vSphere / ESXi und VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Gute Kenntnisse in VMware Aria Automation und der Automatisierung von Infrastruktur-Services
  • Fundierte Erfahrung mit Datacenter-Infrastrukturen, insbesondere Compute, SAN und Storage
  • Erfahrung im Hardware-Lifecycle-Management, inklusive Beschaffung, Inventarisierung und Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern und Servicepartnern
  • Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung im Bereich Cloud Migration bzw. Cloud Transformation, idealerweise mit AWS
  • Kenntnisse in PowerShell, JavaScript oder vergleichbaren Scripting-/Programmiersprachen sowie REST APIs sind von Vorteil
  • Erfahrung mit agilen Arbeitsmethoden, Prozessen und Tools sowie eine selbstständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Aktuelle Zertifizierungen im Bereich VMware Data Center Virtualization (VCP / VCAP) sind von Vorteil, jedoch keine Voraussetzung
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
