The posting

Your new company Join a leading global investment bank with an established presence in Singapore and across international financial markets.

Your new role You will join the Securities Settlement team, supporting the timely settlement and post-trade processing of securities transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pre-matching and settlement of securities transactions
  • Monitoring and resolving failed trades and settlement breaks
  • Liaising with agent banks, brokers, counterparties and internal Trading Desks
  • Managing high-volume transactions within strict market cut-off times
  • Preparing operational reports and resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Maintaining strong operational controls to minimise settlement and operational risk
  • Supporting activities throughout Japan market hours

This is a 6-month contract position.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1–2 years' experience in Stock Loan, Securities Lending, Securities Settlements, Equities Operations or Trade Support
  • Direct Stock Loan / Securities Lending experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of equities markets and the securities trade lifecycle
  • Experience with settlements, reconciliations, trade breaks or pre-matching is advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Comfortable working within tight deadlines and market cut-offs
  • Fresh graduates are not suitable for this requirement
