SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Specialist

1 London Bridge, 2 days a week on-site Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Permanent Competitive Salary + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Specialist. Reporting to the Head of Integrations and Automations, you will be responsible for the administration, governance, support and continuous improvement of the organisation's SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration platform.

This role combines platform ownership, service management, security oversight and business solution delivery, ensuring SharePoint remains secure, well-governed and aligned to business needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver user-focused collaboration and document management solutions whilst promoting best practice across the Microsoft 365 estate.

We're looking for someone with strong SharePoint Online administration experience and a passion for delivering user-focused digital solutions.

Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. It's this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Others may think this is just a role within our IT team, but to us, you'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you'll do:

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments, site collections, hub sites and associated Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage site provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management and archival activities.
  • Configure and maintain document libraries, lists, metadata, content types and information architecture.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, storage utilisation and user adoption.
  • Support business users with SharePoint functionality and best practices.
  • Manage permissions, access controls, sharing settings and governance processes.
  • Support compliance, records management, retention and information lifecycle initiatives.
  • Act as an escalation point for SharePoint-related incidents, service requests and problem management activities.
  • Deliver user training, awareness sessions and adoption initiatives.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements for SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Design and configure SharePoint sites, pages, forms, lists and libraries to meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain workflows using Power Automate and support low-code Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, optimisation and roadmap planning of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong experience administering SharePoint Online.
  • Experience managing SharePoint permissions, security and governance.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies.
  • Experience designing SharePoint information architecture and document management solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience supporting end users and driving platform adoption.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and technical documentation skills.

Desirable: Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Microsoft Teams administration and integration, SharePoint development technologies, Orchestry, Microsoft Syntex, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, ShareGate, Entra ID/Azure AD, ITIL Foundation, or knowledge management and intranet platforms.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
