About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Infrastructure Specialist to administer and support self-hosted enterprise SharePoint environments.

The role is focused on ensuring the stability, performance, availability, and security of enterprise collaboration and content-management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support self-hosted SharePoint Subscription Edition environments.
  • Manage SharePoint farms, service applications, web applications, site collections, and content databases.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint security, permissions, and authentication.
  • Perform platform patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Diagnose and resolve SharePoint incidents, performance issues, and service outages.
  • Support infrastructure and platform dependencies, including SQL Server, SMTP, and IIS.
  • Manage SSL certificates for supported environments.
  • Provide operational support for related enterprise hosting services when required.
  • Provide basic operational coverage for SQL and application-hosting services when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering self-hosted SharePoint platforms.
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Subscription Edition.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, service applications, and security models.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale, on-premises collaboration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, IIS, SMTP, and SSL certificate management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, patching, and platform-support experience.
