As we continue to expand our presence across the South Bay, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our Community Relations team.
The Role
The Senior Account Manager will take ownership of a key South Bay territory and be responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining strategic referral partnerships across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physician groups, clinics, senior communities, and other healthcare organizations.
This is a senior-level field sales position for someone who understands healthcare business development, knows how to build relationships with key decision-makers, and can turn those relationships into sustainable referral growth.
You will work closely with the Director of Community Relations and internal leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen existing accounts, develop new business, and position Health Link as a preferred provider across the South Bay.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan focused on referral growth, account development, and market expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital case management teams, discharge planners, physicians, medical groups, skilled nursing facilities, senior communities, and other key referral partners
- Identify and develop new high-value accounts while expanding referral volume from existing partnerships
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers, including Directors of Case Management, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, physicians, and healthcare leadership
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, in-services, and strategic follow-ups with referral partners
- Analyze territory performance, referral trends, account activity, and competitive opportunities to drive growth
- Serve as a trusted resource to referral partners by helping navigate patient placement, insurance, and access-to-care challenges
- Collaborate closely with Intake, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless referral experience and strong partner communication
- Maintain consistent field presence throughout the assigned territory and proactively identify new business opportunities
- Accurately track outreach, account activity, opportunities, and referral outcomes in the CRM
- Represent Health Link at industry events, networking functions, conferences, and community events
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and changes within key accounts
- Manage an assigned outreach and marketing budget responsibly
- Consistently meet or exceed established referral, account-development, and territory-growth goals
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of healthcare sales, business development, account management, or community relations experience preferred
- Home Health, Hospice, Post-Acute, Senior Care, Hospital, SNF, or other healthcare referral-based sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop accounts and generate measurable referral or revenue growth
- Strong existing knowledge of the South Bay healthcare market is highly desirable
- Comfortable developing relationships with healthcare executives, physicians, case management leadership, and other decision-makers
- Strong understanding of relationship-based and consultative sales
- Highly motivated, competitive, and comfortable working toward measurable performance goals
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-through and attention to detail
- Self-starter who can independently manage a territory while collaborating closely with leadership and internal teams
- Ability to analyze account performance and develop strategies to grow underperforming or untapped accounts
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable
