Job Title: Business Analyst

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Location: Pune Position

Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in requirement analysis, requirement elicitation and client collaboration. The ideal candidate will understand the client's business domain, turn business needs into clear and testable requirements, and support design and delivery through wireframes, documentation and UAT. The role needs a proactive communicator who keeps clients and internal teams informed and tracks tasks to closure without being asked. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement gathering and elicitation with clients and stakeholders through workshops, interviews, questionnaires, demos and document reviews.

• Conduct domain analysis to understand the client's business, industry processes, user groups and regulatory context before defining solutions.

• Analyse requirements for completeness, consistency and testability, and identify gaps, dependencies and open questions early.

• Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flow diagrams and acceptance criteria. • Create wireframes, mockups and functional flow diagrams to align stakeholders before design and development begin.

• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients by running requirement discussions, managing expectations and obtaining requirement sign-offs.

• Collaborate with clients during demos and UAT, prepare UAT scenarios, track execution, and publish UAT reports covering test results, defect status and sign-off readiness.

• Communicate proactively by sharing progress, risks, blockers and decisions with clients and internal teams before they are requested.

• Track tasks and action items proactively in JIRA or project tools, follow up on pending client inputs, and keep status accurate and current.

• Manage requirement changes, maintain traceability, and flag the impact of new requests on scope and timelines.

• Work closely with development, QA and design teams to clarify business logic and acceptance criteria. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming and Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT services or software product environment.

• Strong skills in requirement analysis and elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, observation and document analysis.

• Ability to learn a new business domain quickly and ask the right questions.

• Hands-on experience with wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq or similar).

• Experience preparing UAT test cases, tracking UAT and writing UAT reports.

• Confident client-facing communication, both written and verbal, with good stakeholder management skills.

• Strong ownership and follow-through, with a habit of proactive updates and task tracking.

• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Working knowledge of APIs, data flow and system integrations; exposure to Postman or Swagger is a plus.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, MS Office / Google Workspace.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. • Business analysis or Agile certification (ECBA, CCBA, CSM, PSPO etc.) will be an added advantage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
